Windamere Park is proudly a preferred provider within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), a new way for people living with disability, their families and carers to get the support and services they need.
The NDIS supports people with disability to build skills and capability, and achieve their goals so that they can participate in the community and employment.
At Windamere Park, our primary objective is to ensure our participants achieve their life goals.
The NDIS can pay for support that is reasonable and necessary. This support must be related to a person’s disability.
Assistance from the NDIS is not means tested and has no impact on income support such as the Disability Support Pension and Carers Allowance.
The NDIS rollout in South Australia has recently expanded to include adults living in many northern regions of Adelaide and further regions of South Australia will be included late in 2017.
If you think you may be eligible for an National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) Life Plan it is important to contact the NDIA on 1800 800 110.
